Privacy policy for PromptInspire

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how PromptInspire, operated by the PromptInspire Team ("PromptInspire", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, prompt discovery experience, AI image generation tools, account features, subscriptions, credits, and related services (the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information needed to operate PromptInspire, provide AI generation features, manage accounts and billing, protect users, and prevent misuse.

Account Information

We may collect your name, email address, profile image, login provider details, account identifiers, preferences, and settings.

Payment and Subscription Information

When you purchase a subscription or credits, payment information is processed by our payment providers. We may receive billing records, plan information, payment status, subscription status, invoice identifiers, transaction identifiers, and limited billing details. We do not intentionally store full credit card numbers on our own servers.

AI Generation Content

When you use generation features, we may process prompts, uploaded reference images, selected model settings, generation parameters, generated images, task status, credit cost, timestamps, and related technical metadata.

We use this information to generate images, show your generation history, manage credits, investigate failures, enforce safety rules, detect NSFW or unlawful misuse, and provide support.

Usage and Device Information

We may collect information about how you use the Service, including pages viewed, features used, credits consumed, generation attempts, error logs, browser type, device type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, operating system, referral URLs, and access times. Analytics providers may also process device and browser metadata, screen information, coarse location, session activity, and event data needed to measure website usage and product performance.

Analytics, Cookies, and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, improve performance, understand usage, prevent fraud, and operate the Service.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand overall website usage, traffic sources, page performance, feature usage, and conversion behavior. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar identifiers to measure interactions across pages and sessions. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses, but it may use IP address information to derive coarse location before discarding or otherwise processing it according to Google's controls and policies. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, prompt text, uploaded images, payment details, or other directly identifying personal information to Google Analytics.

We may also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our pages, such as clicks, scrolling, page performance, and places where users may get stuck. We use this information to improve usability, fix issues, and make PromptInspire easier to use.

Microsoft Clarity is optional. If you reject optional analytics in our cookie banner, we do not load Clarity for your browser. If you accept optional analytics, your choice is stored in your browser so we can remember it on future visits. You can change your choice by clearing this site's browser storage or contacting us for help.

You can control cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings. You may also use Google's available opt-out tools for Google Analytics where supported by your browser.

Communications

If you contact us, we may collect your email address, message content, attachments, support evidence, and other information needed to respond.

Marketing Communications

If permitted by law, we may use your email address to send product updates, feature announcements, promotional offers, onboarding tips, checkout reminders, or other marketing communications about PromptInspire. Where required, we will ask for your consent before sending marketing emails.

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe instructions in the email or contacting us. Even if you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send transactional or service-related messages, such as account, security, billing, subscription, support, and policy notices.
