Refund Policy
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how refund requests are handled for PromptInspire subscriptions, credits, AI generation features, and related purchases.
PromptInspire is operated by the PromptInspire Team ("PromptInspire", "we", "us", or "our"). If you have questions or want to request a refund review, contact us at support@promptinspire.app.
2. Seven-Day Refund Window for Unused Credits
You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase if the purchased subscription credits or credit package have not been used.
To qualify, your request must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction date, and the related credits must remain unused. If any credits from the purchase have been consumed, the purchase is generally not eligible for a cash refund under this section.
3. Technical Generation Failures
If a generation fails because of a technical issue with PromptInspire, our infrastructure, or a supported provider, you may contact us for review.
Our default remedy for verified technical generation failures is to restore or reissue the affected credits. In severe, repeated, or unresolved cases, we may approve a cash refund after review.
To help us investigate, please include relevant evidence such as your account email, approximate generation time, task or invoice details, screenshots, error messages, and a description of what happened.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
Except where required by law or approved by us after review, refunds are not provided for:
- Credits that have already been used successfully.
- Dissatisfaction with creative style, model behavior, prompt interpretation, or subjective image quality.
- Failure to cancel a subscription before renewal.
- Account suspension or termination caused by violation of our Terms of Service.
- Attempts to generate prohibited content, including NSFW, illegal, abusive, fraudulent, harassing, or rights-violating content.
- Inability to use the Service caused by your device, browser, network, account access issue, or third-party restrictions outside our control.
- Promotional, trial, bonus, gifted, or free credits.
5. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel a subscription through your account billing settings where available. Unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law, cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period.
After cancellation, you may continue using your active subscription until the end of the current billing period, subject to the plan terms, credit validity rules, and our Terms of Service.
6. Duplicate Charges and Billing Errors
If you believe you were charged twice, charged incorrectly, or billed after a cancellation that should already have taken effect, contact us as soon as possible. Verified duplicate charges or billing errors may be refunded or corrected.
7. How to Request a Refund Review
To request a refund review, email support@promptinspire.app with:
- The email address associated with your PromptInspire account.
- The purchase date and invoice, receipt, or transaction identifier if available.
- Whether you are requesting a refund, credit restoration, or billing correction.
- A short explanation of the issue.
- Evidence for technical failures or billing errors, if applicable.
We may ask for additional information to verify your account, purchase, usage, and eligibility. Approval is not guaranteed and depends on this Refund Policy, our Terms of Service, payment provider rules, and applicable law.
8. Payment Provider Timing
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible. Processing times depend on the payment provider, card network, bank, and region.
9. Changes to This Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Refund requests are generally reviewed under the policy in effect at the time of the relevant purchase, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
